The magnetic fields of our every day life may interfere with the performance of the movement. Keep the watch away from any kind of magnetic fields ; refrain from placing your watch on loudspeakers or refrigerators, as they generate powerful magnetic fields.
CARING FOR YOUR WATCH
Taking proper care of your watch will help you maintain its accuracy and longevity.
MAGNETIC FIELDS
REGULAR WINDING
You should manually wind your selfinding watch at least once a month. We recommend at least 25 turns of the crown to keep the movement components well lubricated.
If it has stopped, your watch must be wound manually in order to function correctly and precisely.
CLEANING YOUR WATCH
To keep your watch looking its best, you can clean it occasionally with a soft cloth. You can also wash the case and bracelet from time to time using soapy water and a soft brush.
WATER RESISTANCE
The water-resistance of the Great White is certified up to 10 bar (100 metres). Before any contact with water, make sure the crown is screwed back down against the case. The crown should not be used under water.
While a water-resistant watch can be worn while swimming, it should not be used during water sports or nautical activities, when there is a high risk of impacts.
After swimming in salt water, rinse your watch with fresh water to remove any salt and sand deposits.
IMPACTS, VIBRATIONS AND CRUSHING
The movement of your SIFI BEAUVOIS watch has an impact-resistant system meeting Swiss and international standards. We recommend however, protecting your watch from violent impacts, vibrations and crushing and avoiding its wear during activities bearing this risk.
EXTREME TEMPERATURES
Never expose your watch for long periods of time to extreme temperatures, such as in a car in the sun, as this dries out the lubricants in the movement that ensure its reliability.
