Terms of Warranty

Last updated: August 14, 2026

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
The following terms of the SIFI BEAUVOIS International Warranty apply to all watches whose country of first delivery is a country other than the United States of America and Canada. The applicable warranty regime is determined by the country of first delivery of the watch: the place where a service request is subsequently made does not change that regime, and the watch remains covered worldwide. For watches whose country of first delivery is the United States of America or Canada, please refer to the SIFI BEAUVOIS Limited Warranty below.

SIFI BEAUVOIS watches are high-precision products. Before delivery, every watch undergoes a series of rigorous quality inspections. However, in the event of a manufacturing defect, your watch is covered by a two (2) year international warranty from the date of delivery. The start date of the warranty can be verified in SIFI BEAUVOIS records if necessary. This warranty is valid worldwide provided that all of the following conditions are met:

– The watch was purchased directly from our official online store sifibeauvois.com or from an authorized SIFI BEAUVOIS retailer.
– The watch has been worn under normal conditions, maintained in accordance with our care recommendations, and has not been subject to improper use or handling.
– Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) must be kept and presented with any service request. It must accompany the watch when it is returned for repair.

This warranty is transferable and applies to any subsequent owner of the watch for the remaining warranty period, upon presentation of the proof of purchase.

EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover:
– Normal wear, the natural aging of your watch, and scratches that may appear on the case, the bracelet or the crystal during use.
– Damage resulting from mishandling, incorrect use, lack of care, negligence or accidents (for example: severe impacts, vibration, crushing, exposure to strong magnetic fields, excessive temperatures, etc.).
– Loss of water resistance resulting from normal wear of the gaskets, from opening the case or replacing the battery by an unauthorized party, from use that does not comply with the water resistance specifications indicated on the Product page, or from the absence of periodic water resistance testing. Water resistance is not a permanent feature: it must be tested by SIFI BEAUVOIS or an authorized service partner after the case has been opened. The water resistance specifications and the recommendations for use and care are indicated on the Product page and in the documentation accompanying the watch.
– Damage resulting from work carried out by unauthorized service centers, or from any modification of the original condition of the watch outside the control of SIFI BEAUVOIS. This warranty is not voided by the mere fact that servicing or repair was entrusted to a third party: only damage actually caused by work that does not meet professional standards, or by the use of unsuitable parts, is excluded. SIFI BEAUVOIS recommends entrusting all servicing to SIFI BEAUVOIS or to an authorized service center.

WARRANTY SERVICE
Any part found to be defective due to a manufacturing defect existing at the time of purchase will be repaired or replaced free of charge. The decision to repair, to replace or to take any other appropriate measure under this warranty rests solely with SIFI BEAUVOIS.
Any service or repair operation performed by SIFI BEAUVOIS or by an authorized partner, whether or not it is carried out under this warranty, is itself covered by a twelve (12) month service warranty from the date the watch is returned, limited to the operations performed and the parts replaced.

LEGAL GUARANTEES
Independently of this commercial warranty, the Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-1 and following of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). This commercial warranty applies without prejudice to those legal guarantees: it is in addition to them and does not replace, limit or affect them in any way.
It applies in addition to the rights the Customer holds under the legal guarantee of conformity, for the entire duration of that guarantee. What it adds: it is valid worldwide and may be invoked with SIFI BEAUVOIS or with any authorized service partner, whereas the legal guarantee of conformity may only be invoked with the seller; it is transferable to any subsequent owner of the watch for the remaining warranty period; and any repair carried out under it gives rise to a twelve (12) month service warranty on the operations performed and the parts replaced. The Customer may invoke either of these guarantees at their choice, and exercising one does not cause them to lose any of the rights they hold under the other. For further details, please see our Terms of Sale.

INFORMATION ON LEGAL GUARANTEES
The consumer has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity where a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity requires the professional, where applicable, to provide all the updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the goods.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience to them.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer asks for the goods to be repaired but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for a period of two years from the date the goods are replaced.
The consumer may obtain a reduction of the purchase price by keeping the goods, or end the contract and obtain a full refund by returning the goods, if:
1° The professional refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement of the goods takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the goods causes a major inconvenience for the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The non-conformity of the goods persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction of the price of the goods, or to the termination of the contract, where the lack of conformity is so serious as to justify immediate price reduction or termination. In that case, the consumer is not required to ask for the repair or replacement of the goods beforehand.
The consumer is not entitled to have the sale rescinded where the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remainder of the guarantee period until delivery of the restored goods.
The rights described above result from the application of Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to up to 10% of average annual revenue (Article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for a period of two years from the discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund upon returning the goods.
